Yesterday, I was able to share the results from the study, "Shades of Belonging: Exploring Religious Identity and Sense of Belonging Among Jewish Adoptees of Color." This groundbreaking research sheds light on overlooked narratives of Jewish adoptees of color to help foster a more inclusive Jewish community.
More importantly, my dear friends and fellow JOC adoptees, Kristen Kendrick and Mike Rublin, joined me on a panel discussing our unique lived experiences. I hope you will watch this important presentation and share with others. Through more understanding, we can uplift and support JOC adoptees and create a larger sense of belonging within Jewish spaces and families.
